The story of Canevin

Once upon a time, Canevini were cellars carved into rock, used to preserve food without electricity by exploiting natural cold air tunnels.

The Change

With the advent of refrigerators, they lost their original purpose, often becoming storage rooms or garages, leaving behind their key role in food preservation.

Memory and Tradition

Despite the changes, the Canevini remain a historical testament to everyday life and ancient food preservation practices.

Today, some of these spaces are being restored and transformed into places dedicated to Italian culinary tradition, celebrating local food history and culture.

Cooking Classes

Discover the secrets of tradition through an authentic and flavorful experience.

Join our cooking class, held in the morning from 11 AM to 2 PM or in the evening from 4 PM to 7 PM, and dive into the authentic flavors of Italy.
Guided by an expert chef, you’ll prepare a traditional lunch or dinner including homemade pasta, two sauces to dress it, and a classic Italian dessert: tiramisu. Everything will be accompanied by carefully selected wine.
End your 3-hour experience by tasting your creations and taking home a personalized apron and an exclusive recipe booklet.
